Investigation Assignment
This is the first screen in the Management Review section. This screen is used to assign an investigator to the incident report. If the management reviewer determines that an investigation is required and assigns an investigator, EIM will automatically generate investigation screens when that screen is saved.
Once the investigation has been completed, the reviewer will be able to mark the investigation as approved or not approved using this screen. If an investigation is not approved, a new investigation document will be generated when the management review is submitted.
Note: The terms Approved and Not Approved will be used for the pilot phase only and will be changed for the Phase 3 implementation.

If the investigation is optional, select whether to proceed. |
Assigned Investigator |
Type the name of the individual assigned to investigate the incident and select the name from the drop-down list. Note: If an assigned investigator no longer has the appropriate role to perform investigations, their name will appear as a label next to the textbox. A new assignment can then be made if necessary. |
Investigation Approval Status |
Displays the approval status of the investigation. |

Enter information about the investigation if it wasn't approved. |
